About this website

spanishpropertyproblems.com is an independent dossier platform, founded in May 2026. The registry documents unresolved disputes with Spanish property developers, agencies and post-sale services — based on contracts, correspondence and evidence available for legal proceedings.

Legal basis

Freedom of expression — Art. 7 Dutch Constitution, Art. 20 Spanish Constitution, Art. 10 ECHR
Right to free information — aimed at warning potential buyers
Right to quote — Art. 15a Dutch Copyright Act, Art. 32 Spanish LPI — for quotes from public sources with attribution
GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) — legitimate interest (information provision, legal underpinning, journalistic exception)

What data do we collect?

On submission: email address, name (or pseudonym), IP hash (SHA-256), user agent, optional files
On comment: email address, name (or pseudonym), IP hash
On "I recognise this": only IP hash (to prevent double votes)

How long do we keep them?

For published contributions: as long as the site exists (removal on request)
For unconfirmed submissions: 48 hours, then automatically deleted
For removed contributions: 30-day audit log, then definitively deleted

With whom do we share?

With no one — except by order of a Dutch or Spanish court, or in case of motivated removal request where identification is needed.

Removal request — for any affected partyYou can request at any time removal of content concerning your person:

Your own submitted contribution — directly, without reason
A quote from a Google review concerning you — provide exact quote and your name
A name or personal data that was unintentionally included

Removal requests are processed within 48 hours. If justified: removal within 7 days.

Right of response for named parties

Every party named in a dossier is invited to respond. A motivated response is included verbatim and unchanged.

This website is hosted on a server in the Netherlands and administered by a Dutch private party. For formal matters (lawyer, summons, court decisions):
